This opportunity provides hands-on experience, specialized training, and a pathway to a permanent role within the company.
Program Overview:
- Training Duration:
- Two years:
- In-house sessions: Saturdays or Sundays (09:00 – 17:00).
- In-plant training: Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:00).
- Initial months include intensive, hands-on field training.
- Two years:
- Training Locations:
- SLT-Mobitel Nebula Institute of Technology, Moratuwa (in-house).
- SLT Regional Operations Centers (islandwide).
- Medium of Instruction:
- English and Sinhala.
- Internship Allowance:
- LKR 1,500 per day during in-plant training.
- Certification:
- Eligibility for the NVQ Level 4 final assessment by TVEC upon program completion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Requirements:
- Six passes at G.C.E. (O/L) in one sitting, including Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics (with 3 credit passes).
- Age Limit:
- Up to 35 years.
- Gender:
- Male applicants only.
Post-Training Offers:
- Candidates who:
- Successfully complete the program.
- Obtain the NVQ Level 4 certificate.
- Hold a valid driving license for minimum “B” vehicle class motor vehicles.
- Will be considered for recruitment as Technician-A15 in SLT’s permanent cadre (subject to vacancies).
Program Fee:
- LKR 108,000 (deducted in 24 monthly installments of LKR 4,500 from the training allowance).
