Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present financial statements in line with IFRS/SLFRS and regulatory standards.
- Taxation & Statutory Obligations: Manage corporate tax, VAT, and other statutory taxes, ensuring timely submissions.
- Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to CBSL, SEC, and other financial regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Work with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized university.
- Professional membership in ICASL, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Primary Dealer, Bank, Financial Institution, or a reputable firm in the finance sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
