Role Overview:

As CISO, you will:
✔ Develop & Implement Security Strategies – Protect against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
✔ Lead IT Security Governance – Establish policies, risk management frameworks, and security best practices.
✔ Manage Cyber Defense – Oversee firewalls, network security, and digital banking safeguards.
✔ Foster Security Culture – Train teams, conduct audits, and ensure enterprise-wide security awareness.
✔ Collaborate with Stakeholders – Align IT security with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBA or Master’s degree + Professional IT/Cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• 12+ years in Banking/Finance IT Security (Sri Lanka or regional experience preferred).
• Expertise in:
  • Network security, firewalls, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Regulatory compliance (Central Bank of Sri Lanka standards).
• Leadership Skills – Strategic vision, team management, and crisis response.
• Professional Membership – Associate of the Institute of Bankers or equivalent.
