Cadet Pilot Vacancy – Key Requirements
To apply for Sri Lanka airline vacancies as a Cadet Pilot, you must meet the following criteria:
✅ Licensing & Ratings:

Valid Sri Lankan Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating
-
ATPL knowledge endorsement from the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka
-
Multi-Engine Rating
-
Class 1 Medical Certificate
✅ Educational Qualifications:
-
GCE O/L: 6 passes (including 4 Credits in English, Mathematics, and Physics/Science) in one sitting

GCE A/L: 2 passes (excluding General English) in one sitting

OR a Bachelor’s Degree (recognized by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka)
✅ Additional Requirements:

Age Limit: Not more than 40 years (as of 31st August 2025)

Sri Lankan citizenship
-
Fluency in English & IT proficiency

Strong interpersonal skills & teamwork
Training & Career Growth
Selected candidates will undergo professional pilot training at SriLankan Airlines’ Approved Training Organization (ATO). The training cost will be recovered through salary deductions over a pre-agreed period, with a bond commitment to the airline.
