Position: Assistant Manager – Internal Audit
Sri Lanka Cricket is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager in Internal Audit. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization dedicated to advancing cricket in Sri Lanka.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key operational areas.
- Review monthly financial statements and address old outstanding balances.
- Monitor and ensure proper utilization of grants provided to sports clubs and associations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial and operational audits.
- Liaise with the Sports Ministry and other government bodies.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Member, Passed Finalist, or Finalist of ICASL/ACCA.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is an added advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in Internal Auditing or Government Auditing/Accounting.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for cricket and familiarity with the sports industry.
