Internship Opportunity: Private Sector Fundraising (UNICEF Sri Lanka)

Internship Overview:
- Location: Sri Lanka
- Start Date: January 2025
- Duration: 24 weeks
- Monthly Stipend: LKR 109,368 (five days a week)
- Travel: Not required
- Insurance: Interns must have valid medical and life/accident insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on prospective private sector partners and high-net-worth individuals.
- Develop and maintain a regularly updated prospect list.
- Support program sections to identify engagement opportunities aligned with partner interests.
- Coordinate with existing partners to monitor partnership progress through meetings and reporting tools.
- Assist in implementing private sector-funded initiatives, adhering to targets and timelines.
- Refine presentations and reports for internal and external meetings.
- Document success stories, case studies, and human-interest stories in collaboration with the Communications team.
- Perform other tasks as required under the guidance of the Resource Mobilization Officer.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background:
- Recently completed a University Degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Communication, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Skills and Experience:
- At least one year of experience (full-time/part-time) in Marketing, Communication, or Partnerships.
- Proficiency in developing communication assets and publications.
- Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Attributes:
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and professional in documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Previous experience with the UN or leadership roles in child/youth movements is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in Sinhala or Tamil is an advantage.
