Qualifications
1. Regional Manager (MM 1-1)
- External Applicants:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Transport and Logistics, Human Resources Management, Commerce, or Engineering (recognized by the UGC).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a corporation, board, or reputed commercial establishment.
- Special skills in Public Relations and Transport Services are essential.
- Internal Applicants:
- Minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in a Grade 1 post in the Junior Management category.
- Preference for candidates with field experience and relevant qualifications.
2. Internal Auditor (MM 1-1)
- External Applicants:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Accountancy Management, or Commerce (recognized by the UGC) OR
- ICASL Certificate/Licentiate II Certificate/Passed Part III of CIMA or ACCA OR
- Higher National Diploma in Accounting (HNDA) from Sri Lanka Technical College.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accountancy/Auditing in a corporation, board, or reputed commercial establishment.
- Internal Applicants:
- Minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in a Grade 1 post in the Junior Management category (Accounting/Auditing Officer).
3. Administration Officer (Running) (JM 1-1)
- External Applicants:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Public Administration, Commerce, Transport and Logistics, Civil Engineering, Statistics, or Management (recognized by the UGC).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a government department, corporation, board, or reputed commercial establishment.
- Internal Applicants:
- Minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in a Grade 1 post in the Management Assistant category.
Recruitment Process
- Recruitment will be based on a structured interview.
- Marks Allocation:
- Relevant additional experience: 30 marks
- Relevant additional qualifications: 30 marks
- Other performances/achievements: 15 marks
- Performance at the interview: 25 marks
- Total: 100 marks
Conditions of Service
- Permanent Appointment: Without pension, but with EPF and ETF benefits.
- Provident Fund: Employees contribute 5%, and the Authority contributes 12%.
- Trust Fund: The Authority contributes 3%.
- Additional Benefits: Cost of Living allowance of Rs. 17,800 and other approved benefits.
