Position: Librarian
Key Responsibilities:
- Reference Service: Assist users in locating and accessing information resources.
- Collection Management: Organize, catalog, and manage library materials.
- User Education: Conduct orientations and workshops on library resources.
- Circulation Service: Manage lending, returns, and enforce library policies.
- Digital Resources & Technology: Support users with digital resources and provide technical assistance.
- Library Outreach: Promote library services through events and collaborations.
- Interlibrary Loan: Facilitate borrowing and lending of materials with other libraries.
- Shelving & Maintenance: Ensure proper organization and maintenance of library shelves.
- Assessment & Reporting: Collect data for library assessments and prepare reports.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to library users.
- E-Library Management: Oversee the e-library platform and manage digital resources.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.
- Experience in a library setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of library cataloging and classification systems.
- Familiarity with digital library technologies and online databases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
