Richard Pieris Group, a dynamic and diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, is seeking a skilled professional to join Maskeliya Tea Gardens Ceylon Limited as an Executive/Asst. Manager – Production & Logistics. This role is pivotal in enhancing our tea blending, packing, and export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tea blending, packing, and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Ensure compliance with FSMS (Food Safety Management System) standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet domestic and export demands.
- Coordinate domestic distribution and container loading for exports, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery.
- Supervise and lead a team across production, quality assurance, sales coordination, and operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, raw material/packing material procurement, and stock movement.
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- GCE Advanced Level qualification. A Degree or Diploma in a relevant field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production & Distribution Centre Management. Experience in tea blending and packing is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations.
Job Location:
- Based at our Production & Distribution Centre in Maharagama.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing within a 25 km radius of Maharagama.
