Strategic Impact Areas:

✔ Financial Governance: Own IFRS/CBSL reporting, audit coordination & tax compliance
✔ Operations Leadership: Manage payments, reconciliations & close cycles
✔ Risk Management: Oversee IFRS 9 impairment (ECL) & regulatory capital calculations
✔ Digital Transformation: Automate processes while maintaining robust controls

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% compliant statutory/regulatory reporting (IFRS, CBSL, tax)

• Lead external audits and coordinate with tax advisors

• Transform finance operations through automation & system enhancements

• Oversee payment operations (vendors, payroll, statutory payments)

• Manage impairment models per IFRS 9 & CBSL requirements

• Support ALM, treasury and ICAAP reporting (CAR, LCR)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

✅ CA/ACCA/CPA (Mandatory) | MBA preferred
✅ 10+ years in financial control (Banking/NBFI experience ideal)
✅ Expert in:

• IFRS & CBSL regulations

• Financial systems transformation

• Audit & risk management
  ✅ Proven leader with cross-functional collaboration skills
