Position: Director General/CEO (01 Post)

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Option 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Agriculture/Business Administration (UGC recognized)

• Postgraduate Degree OR Corporate Membership in relevant professional institution

• 20+ years managerial experience (including 5+ years at senior level) in corporations/boards

Option 2:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (UGC recognized)

• PhD in Science/Agriculture/Business Administration

• 5+ years senior managerial experience in reputed organizations

For Internal Candidates:

• Minimum 3 years as Additional Director

• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams

Age Limit:

• 40-50 years (external candidates)

• No upper limit for internal candidates

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Scale: HM 2-3 Rs. 173,000 – 231,200

• Basic Salary (2025): Rs. 127,651

• Allowances:

  • Transport: Rs. 50,000/month OR assigned vehicle

  • Fuel: 145 liters/month

  • Communication: Rs. 4,250/month

  • Professional: Rs. 25,000/month

• Additional Benefits: EPF/ETF, government-approved incentives

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement national science & technology policies

• Manage NSF’s administrative and financial operations

• Represent NSF at local and international forums

• Coordinate with universities, research institutions, and private sector

• Oversee manpower development and performance appraisals
