Computer Software Development Officer (Contract Basis) – Department of Pensions
The Department of Pensions is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Computer Software Development Officer on a contract basis.

✅ Aptitude Evaluation Test & Professional Test conducted by the Department of Pensions.
🎓 Required Qualifications:
1. Educational Qualifications (Any one of the following)
📌 Option 1:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from a UGC-recognized university.
📌 Option 2:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT as a major (at least 1/3 of the total credits in IT) AND
✔ A Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science/IT from a UGC-recognized institution.
📌 Option 3:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC-recognized university AND
✔ A Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science/IT.
2. Professional Qualifications
✅ Professional certifications in Software Development will be considered a special qualification.
3. Experience
✅ Experience in the field is considered an added advantage.
4. Physical & Other Requirements
✔ Physically and mentally fit to work anywhere in Sri Lanka.
✔ Sri Lankan citizen with good character.
💼 Job Details
📍 Contract Period: 1 Year
📍 Age Limit: 22 – 40 years (as of the closing date)
📍 Salary: Rs. 88,000 + Rs. 17,800 monthly allowance

📌 Structured Interview: (Total 50 Marks)
✅ Additional Education (Postgraduate: 10, Diploma: 5, Certificates: 2) – 10 Marks
✅ Experience in Java/Angular2 Software Engineering – 10 Marks
✅ Technical Knowledge Evaluation (Concepts, API Management, Databases, PHP/Java, Angular2) – 25 Marks
✅ Interview Performance – 5 Marks
📌 Professional Test: (Total 25 Marks)
✅ Software Development – 10 Marks
✅ API Management – 5 Marks
✅ Database Management – 2.5 Marks
✅ PHP/Java Programming & Design – 2.5 Marks
✅ Angular2 Front-End Development – 2.5 Marks
✅ Software Quality Assurance – 2.5 Marks
