These roles are part of the Mannar Wind Power Project Phase-III and offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to Sri Lanka’s renewable energy sector.

Available Positions

1. Civil Superintendent – 02 Posts (Contract Basis for 02 Years)
2. Technical Mate – 03 Posts (Contract Basis for 02 Years)

Qualifications and Experience

1. Civil Superintendent

• Educational Qualifications:
  • National Diploma in Technology (NDT) OR
  • National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES) OR
  • Diploma in Technology from the Open University of Sri Lanka OR
  • Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE) OR
  • National Certificate in Technology (NCT).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering.
• Preferred Experience: Construction of roads, wind power projects, substations, and high-voltage transmission lines.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Sinhala/Tamil. Tamil language skills are an added advantage.
• Age Limit: 18–30 years.
• Residency Preference: Applicants from Mannar, Anuradhapura, Puttalam Districts, or the Northern Province will be given preference.

2. Technical Mate

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Six (6) passes in G.C.E. (O/L) Examination, including Mathematics and Mother Language, in a single attempt OR
  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 or above in civil, electrical, or mechanical fields (e.g., Electrician, Electric Motor Winder, Pneumatic Technician, Electronic Appliances Technician).
• Age Limit: 18–25 years.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Sinhala/Tamil. Tamil language skills are an added advantage.
• Residency Preference: Applicants from Mannar, Anuradhapura, Puttalam Districts, or the Northern Province will be given preference.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on an interview.

Terms and Conditions

• Contract Duration: 02 years.
• Work Location: Northern Province (project site).
• Remuneration:
  • Civil Superintendent: EL2 – Initial Salary Step of Civil Superintendent, CEB Salary Scale.
  • Technical Mate: ENS – Initial Salary Step of Junior Technical Mate, CEB Salary Scale.
• Benefits:
  • EPF: Employee contributes 10%, Employer contributes 15%.
  • ETF: Employer contributes 3%.
