Position: Chief Internal Auditor (CIA)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Professional qualifications in Accountancy with Fellow Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
• Over 15 years of post-qualifying experience in a Government, Corporate, Board, or reputed private sector institution with an annual turnover of LKR 500 million or more.
• At least 5 years of experience as Chief Internal Auditor, Head of Internal Audit, or in a senior management position within an Internal Audit Department.
• A Postgraduate Degree (Masters’) in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Age Limit: Not more than 45 years (not applicable to those in State Service/Statutory Boards/Corporations).

Salary: Rs. 341,625 – 10 x 12,140 = Rs. 463,025 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate internal audit programs and design audit tools.
• Review compliance with policies and procedures.
• Identify control and process weaknesses and provide recommendations.
• Present audit reports to the Audit Committee, Chairman, and Board.
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations as requested by the General Manager, Chairman, Audit Committee, and Board.
