💡 Job Role – Card Specialist
This role ensures the smooth operation of card management systems and switching applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting compliance with payment schemes like Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and CUP.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Perform routine card-related tasks & Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities
✅ Test & implement compliance mandates from Visa, MasterCard, etc.
✅ Configure card-related applications based on business needs
✅ Act as primary support contact between end-users & vendors
✅ Troubleshoot & resolve card payment & IT-related issues
✅ Support data extraction from card management systems
✅ Coordinate with vendors & payment card associations for system improvements
✅ Prepare IPK & VSDCCA certificates for new and existing products
✅ Complete CIQs & GCTQs required by Visa & MasterCard
✅ Conduct database administration for reported issues
✅ Research and recommend new technologies for improved operations
✅ Perform testing & certifications (ADVT, MTIP, JCB, LankaPay)
✅ Be available to work outside regular hours if needed
🎯 Qualifications & Experience:
📜 Expected Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, Operations, or Engineering
✔ Familiarity with TSYS Prime4 card management system & APIs (added advantage)
✔ Certifications in card management or compliance (preferred)
💼 Required Experience:
✔ 2-3 years of experience handling card operations & working with Visa, MasterCard, JCB, CUP
✔ 2 years of experience supporting credit card projects & performing simulator testing
✔ Understanding of credit/debit card transaction flows & system integration with core banking & ATM switches
✔ Basic knowledge of POS & e-commerce (3DS 2.x)
🕑 Age Limit:
✔ Preferably below 40 years as of the application closing date
