Manager – Business Development (Colombo, Sri Lanka)

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and execute business strategies to attract and retain clients, expanding market reach.
✅ Research and implement new market initiatives, identifying growth opportunities.
✅ Build financial models and strategic assessments to solve key business challenges.
✅ Evaluate emerging technologies and business models for competitive advantage.
✅ Monitor industry trends, preparing reports on market segments and competitors.
✅ Conduct client assessments, tailoring solutions to meet business needs.
✅ Pursue new revenue streams, securing partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
✅ Lead cross-functional collaboration for seamless service delivery.
✅ Prepare and pitch business proposals to potential clients.
✅ Manage end-to-end business development projects from planning to execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ G.C.E. Advanced Level (required).
✔ Degree/Part-qualification in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
✔ 3+ years in business development, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
✔ Fluent in English & Sinhala (excellent written/verbal communication).
✔ Strong analytical skills—ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office & business software (e.g., CRM tools).
✔ Leadership qualities, multitasking ability, and resilience under pressure.
