Position: Assistant System Engineer

Qualifications and Requirements:
- B.Sc Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Network Systems Engineering from a recognized university.
OR - B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized university with 1 year of post-qualifying experience in Systems Maintenance, Database Administration, and Network Administration.
OR - B.Sc Degree from a recognized university with 4 years of post-qualifying experience in System Administration, Database Administration, and Network Administration.
- Certification in Database Administration, System/Network Administration, or Computer Security will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Below 35 years
Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package based on experience and individual skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Administer and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Database, MS Windows Server, and Linux Systems.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
