Are you passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and empowering women through innovative financial solutions? Union Bank seeks a dynamic Gender and Women Financing Lead to spearhead our DEI strategy and women-focused financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the bank’s Gender and Women Financing Strategy aligned with SDGs, 2X Challenge, and We-Fi Code.
• Design women-centric financial products in collaboration with internal teams and development partners.
• Conduct training programs to enhance staff awareness on DEI and gender finance.
• Organize workshops and events to support women entrepreneurs with financial and non-financial tools.
• Represent the bank as a thought leader in gender finance forums across Sri Lanka.

Who Should Apply?

• 3+ years in women’s banking, SME/retail finance, or advisory roles for women entrepreneurs.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
• Advocacy experience with Chambers of Commerce or civil society organizations is a plus.
