The Role
As an Assistant – Internal Audit, you will:
- Audit Execution: Assist in scheduling and conducting periodical audits in assigned branches and departments as per the annual audit plan.
- Control Evaluation: Evaluate the adequacy of controls and ensure compliance with established schedules and quality requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare audit reports and participate in discussions with management to address issues and develop remedial action plans.
- Follow-Up: Monitor and verify the implementation of management’s remedial actions to mitigate identified risks.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of audit experience (preferred).
- Qualifications: Undergraduates in finance/accounting or individuals partly qualified in ICASL, CIMA, CNA, or AAT.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of internal controls.
- Attributes:
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to conduct field audits as required.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Age: Between 18 to 28 years.
