Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK, or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK.
OR - B.Sc. (Accountancy) from a recognized university in Sri Lanka with 3 years of post-qualifying experience in Accounting/Auditing at an executive level in an institution with over 100 employees.
OR - Intermediate Examination of ICASL, CIMA UK, or ACCA UK, OR
Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) from Sri Lanka Technical College, OR
B.Com Degree from a recognized university with 5 years of post-qualifying experience in Accounting/Auditing at an executive level in an institution with over 100 employees.
Age Limit:
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years old as of the closing date.
- Age relaxation applies to candidates currently serving in State service/Statutory Boards, including CEB/Corporations. Such candidates must submit their applications through their respective Heads of Institutions.
Salary Scale:
- Associate Members of ICASL, CIMA, or ACCA: Rs. 183,600 – 5x 3,295 + 10 x 3,415 – 234,225/- per month (S3)
- Others: Rs. 157,375 – 5x 2,810 + 10 x 2,845 – 199,875/- per month (S4)
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on an interview.
Place of Work:
- Successful candidates may be posted to any location in Sri Lanka as decided by CEB. Candidates must agree in writing to accept the posting location.
Other Benefits:
- Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF): 10% employee contribution, 15% CEB contribution.
- Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF): 3% CEB contribution.
- Other benefits applicable to permanent CEB employees.
