Qualifications and Requirements

Engineer

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in BSc Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronic, Computer, or Information Engineering from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent (SLQF 6).
  • Associate Membership of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka.

Telecommunication Technical Officer

• Education:
  • G.C.E. O/L with six passes (including Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics).
  • G.C.E. A/L with three passes in one sitting.
  • Higher Diploma (NVQ-6 or above) in Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer, or related fields.

IT & Network Officer / Software Developer

• Education:
  • G.C.E. O/L with six passes, including credits in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.
  • G.C.E. A/L with three passes.
  • ACS Diploma, BCS Diploma, or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Software Development, or similar fields (NVQ-6 or above).

Marketing Officer

• Education:
  • G.C.E. O/L with six passes, including credits in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.
  • G.C.E. A/L with three passes in one sitting.
  • Diploma in Marketing (SLIM Graduate Level / CIM Part II) or equivalent (NVQ-6 or above).
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication in English.

Technician

• Education:
  • Six passes at G.C.E. O/L, including credits in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.
  • Skill Competency Certificate (NAITA) equivalent to NVQ-4 or above in Telecommunication, Electrical, or Electronics.
  • Valid driving license (minimum “B” vehicle class).

General Conditions

• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of the application date.
• Appointment: Contract or permanent basis, with a one-year probation period.
• Remuneration: Competitive and industry-aligned.
